We are delighted to invite you to participate in the 4th International Workshop on Energy-Based Seismic Engineering (IWEBSE 2027), which will be held at Tongji University, Shanghai, China, from May 30 to June 3, 2027.
The 4th edition of IWEBSE will continue to provide a distinguished forum for researchers, engineers, and practitioners worldwide to exchange the latest advances and perspectives in energy-based seismic engineering. The theme of IWEBSE 2027 is: “Energy-Based Seismic Engineering for Resilient, Intelligent and Sustainable Built Environments: From Performance Assessment to Adaptive Structural Systems.”
The workshop will focus on emerging challenges and opportunities in energy-based approaches for earthquake-resistant design and assessment of both new and existing structures. Particular attention will be given to innovative seismic devices, structural resilience, sustainability, structural health monitoring, and the potential applications of artificial intelligence in seismic engineering. Considering your outstanding contributions and leadership in the field of earthquake engineering, we sincerely hope that you would accept our invitation to participate in this workshop and share your valuable insights with the international research community. Your expertise and perspectives will greatly contribute to the discussions and help shape the future development of energy-based seismic engineering.
